The Garden

Our apartments have a community garden area. There are designated areas where people can plant whatever they want. So yesterday we went to the store, bought some tools and plants and dug in the dirt for a while.
It was a lot of fun. Shock loved it, running through the plants eating whatever he could find. Judah and River both helped plant some plants. River made sure the thyme was especially firm in the ground with an extra stomp with her foot.

We planted thyme, peppers, cherry tomatoes, strawberries, pumpkins, carrots, sunflowers, and regular flowers just for fun. We will see if anything grows.

What’s awesome is that there was another couple who came out to water their area. We got to talking. They’re from Philadelphia and just about to have their first child. We had a great talk and they mentioned we should have a BBQ or something. Pretty sweet.

Seeds planted yesterday. We will trust in God for the increase.
