President of Iran and the media

So I read about the president of Iran’s visit to Columbia university yesterday on the internet at work. When I got home I was ale to see the entire speech along with the president of Columbia University.
It was very interesting the perspective of the media’s portrayal vs. actually seeing it.
from the news reports I read, it sounded like the university president was very arrogant as he blasted the president of Iran. However watching the speech he came across very humble, yet firm. I was impressed how he represented himself both as a scholar and an American.
Just an observation and a lesson on how the media skews perspective.
