An Amazing Day at Disneyland!

So yesterday was one of the best days in a long time. Our wonderful neighbor was gracious enough to sign our family in to Disneyland so we could celebrate Judah’s birthday. January and February are the best times to go cause the park is empty. There was hardly no waiting and the weather was great. We hadn’t been there in a while so it was great to get a good Disney fix.

Some highlights:

  • Eating a Monte Cristo sandwich at the Blue Bayou. We had a table right on the water!
  • Seeing Judah battle Darth Vader at the Jedi Training academy.
  • Judah and I blasting Zerg at Buzz Lightyear.
  • Teaching River how to drive at the Autopia.
  • Hitting my favorite ride: Pirates three times.
  • Walking on to splash mountain with no wait with Judah and then Heather going with him getting wet.
  • Watching River and Pluto play together.
  • Sharing an ice cream cone with my family on the front porch.
  • Getting off the Jungle Cruise and hearing “Oh and Parkcrest Church Rocks!” over the loudspeaker from a friendly Jungle Cruise Guide who we talked with later and told us he’d see us on Sunday!
  • Topping it off, you’ll have to see this post. The Disney Parade of Drunken Dreams!

What a great day. I was so thankful. God is good.
