Summer Camp Visit

I went out to Mt. Gilead, the local camp today to check it out and see what they do. It was nice to be outside. Out of all the parts of student ministry, I love summer camp the most. That is the thing I miss the most about not being in student ministry.
Last summer’s Gravity Conference was one of tea highlights of my ministry. I’m looking forward to when my kids are old enough for camp and I hope to be joining them.
It was nice to smell the smells and get out alone with God for an extended period of time.
I also enjoyed thinking on my memories of camp. I made my decision to bet baptized, go into ministry, and marry Heather at camp. I even had my first kiss at camp. Heather and I spent some of our honeymoon at Little River and Wi-Me-Ma, this camps I grew up at.
