You Will Be Attacked
If there’s one thing I’ve noticed in my life as a pastor’s son and now a pastor is that if you’re ever doing anything, or on the verge of doing anything great for God’s Kingdom, the enemy will notice and try to attack you.
He will attack your confidence.
He will attack your emotions.
He will attack your insecurities.
He will attack your credibility.
He will attack your health.
He will attack your family.
He will attack your relationships with your leadership.
He will attack you with anything that will distract you from the vision that God has placed on your heart and within your community.
Don’t let him.
Don’t get distracted.
Don’t allow the enemy to get a foothold on your life.
Don’t allow the enemy to disrupt relationships with your spouse, your children, or your community.
A monumental scripture that comes to mind during pertaining to this topic is the Armor of God. Put on that armor daily.
Hey buddy,
These thoughts hit me in a season where the encouragement was heard in an extra emotional way. It’s crazy. Everything here is great. God is working. The church is growing. Unity is beautiful. People are becoming mature. I have an amazing wife and daughter. But something in me is missing some joy … ugh … our enemy is a devious liar. That’s all I’ve got to say.
Thanks again.
